Perplexity Data Connectors: Best Built-in Apps and Third-Party Tools for Marketing Data
Perplexity can answer from your own marketing data, not only the web. Perplexity AI connectors link it to your ad platforms, analytics, CRM and email tools, so you can ask about last week's spend or a drop in conversions and get an answer with sources.
This guide covers two kinds of Perplexity data connectors: the apps in Perplexity's own catalog, and third-party tools that prepare marketing data before Perplexity reads it. You'll also see which plans include what, how custom connectors work, and how to set one up.
What are connectors in Perplexity?
Connectors are the apps and data sources you link to your Perplexity account. Once an app is connected, Perplexity can pull data from it into an answer, alongside web results.
Connectors work in two places:
- Search. Turn on an app under Sources, or mention it with @, and Perplexity uses it to answer your question. If Sources is set to Web, Academic or Social only, Perplexity won't call your apps.
- Perplexity Computer. Perplexity's agent runs multi-step tasks in a cloud sandbox, such as building a weekly report from several apps. Computer tasks use credits; regular searches don't.
Many marketing apps in the catalog, such as Meta Ads and TikTok Ads, are built and maintained by the platforms themselves. Others, like HubSpot, are built by Perplexity. Each vendor decides what its app can do. Some only read data. Others can also take actions, like updating CRM records or managing ad campaigns. You can set an app's tools to "Always ask" so Perplexity checks with you before it acts.
In October 2026, Perplexity started moving the Connectors and Skills pages into one Plugins page in the sidebar, replacing the Customize menu. If you still see Customize → Connectors, your account hasn't switched yet, and your connections carry over when it does.
Types of Perplexity connectors
Marketing data reaches Perplexity in three ways, depending on who builds the connector:
| Type | Built by | Cost | Setup effort | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Native apps | Platform vendors such as Meta and TikTok, or Perplexity, listed in its catalog | Included with a paid Perplexity plan | Low: sign in to the app | Questions about one platform, actions inside it |
| Third-party data connectors | Vendors such as Coupler.io, Windsor.ai and Supermetrics | Separate subscription | Low to medium: add a custom connector | Cross-channel questions, blended data, calculated metrics |
| Your own MCP server | Your team | Developer time | High | Internal or niche data |
Most teams start with native apps and add a third-party connector once they need answers across several channels.
Which Perplexity plans include connectors
Your plan decides whether you can use Perplexity connectors in search, add custom connectors and run Computer tasks. Prices were checked on perplexity.ai in October 2026.
| Plan | Price | Apps in search | Custom connectors | Perplexity Computer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | No, upgrade required | No | No |
| Pro | $17/month billed annually | Yes | Yes | Yes, 4,000 one-time bonus credits, no monthly credits |
| Max | $167/month billed annually | Yes | Yes | Yes, 10,000 monthly credits plus 35,000 one-time bonus credits |
| Enterprise Pro | $40/seat/month, or $400/seat/year billed annually | Yes, as set by admins | If an admin allows it | Computer for Enterprise, 500 monthly credits per seat (rolling out) |
| Enterprise Max | $325/seat/month, or $3,250/seat/year billed annually | Yes, as set by admins | If an admin allows it | Computer for Enterprise, 15,000 monthly credits per seat |
On Perplexity Enterprise plans, admins choose which connectors each role can use, and member-added custom connectors are off by default. Computer for Enterprise runs on SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure, logs activity in audit logs, and runs each task in an isolated container.
For data privacy, Perplexity says Enterprise data is never used to train its models. Pro and Max users can opt out of data collection in settings.
Perplexity connectors list: marketing apps
The full Perplexity connectors list has 400+ prebuilt apps in Computer. The Perplexity Computer connectors list groups them by category, and most marketing tools sit under Sales & Marketing. These are the Perplexity app connectors marketers are most likely to use:
| Category | Apps |
|---|---|
| Ads and social | Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Facebook Pages |
| Web and search analytics | Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Similarweb |
| SEO and AI visibility | ahrefs, Profound |
| Email and lifecycle | Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Omnisend, Customer.io, MailerLite, Drip, ConvertKit |
| CRM and sales | HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo |

Beyond marketing, Perplexity connectors cover work apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Asana and Slack. Perplexity file connectors search Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and SharePoint, including spreadsheets, PDFs and PowerPoint files. For data warehouse tables, Perplexity Enterprise connectors include Snowflake, which builds a Data Map that turns questions into SQL. A Databricks connector is available from the Pro plan up.
Availability is set app by app. Some apps work in both search and Computer, some in one only, and a few are limited by region or device.

Top native marketing connectors in Perplexity
These native Perplexity connectors need only a sign-in. Each one covers a single platform, so they work best for questions about that platform. Before you connect one, check which tools it exposes, and set any that make changes to "Always ask".
Google Ads
Pulls campaigns, ad groups, keywords and search terms, with spend, clicks and conversions.
Good for: checking spend, CPC and cost per conversion by campaign.
Meta Ads
Meta's connector covers Facebook and Instagram campaigns: spend, impressions, CTR and ROAS, with breakdowns.
Good for: a quick read on paid social performance by campaign or ad set.
TikTok Ads
TikTok's connector, launched for Perplexity in October 2026, covers reporting and campaign management.
Good for: checking TikTok campaign results without opening Ads Manager.
Google Analytics 4
Brings in sessions, users, conversions and revenue by channel, page or campaign.
Good for: which channels and landing pages drive traffic and sales.
Google Search Console

Salesforce
Connects Perplexity to Salesforce records such as accounts and opportunities.
Good for: pipeline questions for teams whose CRM is Salesforce.
Klaviyo
Covers profiles, lists, segments, campaigns, flows and metrics.
Good for: email and SMS campaign and flow performance.
Perplexity custom connectors: remote and local MCP
Every third-party tool in this guide connects through a custom connector. Perplexity custom connectors use the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for linking AI tools to outside data. Perplexity MCP connectors come in two types.
Remote connectors. Perplexity custom remote connectors (MCP) link to a server hosted online. Go to Plugins → Add custom → Connector (or Customize → Connectors on older accounts) and choose Remote. You enter:
- a name and an HTTPS server URL
- the authentication type: OAuth, API key or none
- the transport: Streamable HTTP or SSE
Remote connectors need a Pro, Max or Enterprise plan.
Local connectors. Local Perplexity MCP connectors run a server on your own computer. Perplexity supports local MCP only in its Mac app from the Mac App Store, and you install the PerplexityXPC helper first. You add the server's launch command under Add custom → Simple, then turn it on under Sources.
Perplexity can't verify third-party MCP servers. Use connectors from vendors you trust, and on Enterprise, ask your admin to review member-added connectors.
Best Perplexity connectors for cross-channel marketing data
Native Perplexity connectors answer questions about one platform. Add a third-party connector when you need one answer across several channels, consistent metric definitions, calculated numbers you can trace, or platforms the catalog doesn't list, such as LinkedIn Ads. Each review covers the same points, plus what the tool adds over native apps.
Coupler.io
Coupler.io is a data integration and AI analytics platform with 400+ data sources, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, GA4 and HubSpot. You describe the report or data you need, and Coupler AI helps set up the data flow: the sources, how to combine them, and where the data goes.
In Perplexity, that means one answer across channels, with totals and ROAS calculated by Coupler.io's Analytical Engine on the full dataset. Metric definitions you save once apply in every session.
- Starting price
- Starter at $24/month billed annually ($32 monthly) for 3 accounts and 5,000 rows per run. Free plan with 1 source and manual refresh, plus a 7-day trial.

Windsor.ai
Windsor.ai is a marketing data platform with 350+ sources. Windsor MCP normalizes data from all sources in your account, so you can compare spend and ROI across channels in one conversation. It's included on every plan. Over native apps, it adds normalized cross-channel data and sources like LinkedIn Ads.
- Starting price
- Basic at $19/mo billed annually ($23 monthly) for 3 sources. 30-day trial, then a free plan with 1 source.
- Connection
- A remote custom connector at mcp.windsor.ai, authorized with OAuth.
- Refresh
- Daily on Basic, hourly on Standard ($99/month), every 15 mins on Professional ($499/month).
Best for: small teams and agencies that want a low entry price and a quick remote setup.
Adzviser
Adzviser connects marketing and sales data to AI tools, with 60+ sources across ads, analytics, SEO and CRM. All plans include unlimited accounts per source, refreshes and team members. Over native apps, it puts ads, analytics, SEO and CRM data behind one connector.
- Starting price
- Starter at $48.99/month for 3 data sources and 6M monthly active rows. A 14-day trial costs $0.99.

- Unlimited automated refreshes on every plan.
Best for: agencies managing many client accounts on the same few platforms.
Supermetrics
Supermetrics is a marketing data platform with 170+ sources. Its MCP server lets AI tools query your connected marketing accounts, and new campaigns it creates start paused. Over native apps, it puts 170+ marketing sources behind one connector.
- Starting price
- The MCP server needs a subscription with Supermetrics API access, which the pricing page lists under Enterprise (quote only). Starter ($44/month billed annually) doesn't list API access. 14-day trial.
- Connection
- A remote MCP server at mcp.supermetrics.com/mcp.
- Refresh
- Not published.
Best for: larger teams that already report with Supermetrics.
SegmentStream
SegmentStream is a marketing measurement platform with 30+ ad platform connectors. Its MCP server exposes cross-channel attribution, incrementality results and budget allocation, using data in your own warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake or Databricks). Over native apps, it adds attribution and incrementality results that platform-reported metrics don't show.
- Starting price
- Priced per project after a discovery call, with no per-seat fees. No self-serve trial.
- Connection
- A remote custom connector at mcp.segmentstream.com/mcp, using Streamable HTTP.
- Refresh
- Not published.
Best for: teams that need attribution and budget decisions, not only platform-reported metrics.
How to use connectors in Perplexity
This example uses Coupler.io, because it combines several ad platforms into one dataset and runs the calculations before Perplexity answers. That covers the cross-channel questions native apps handle least well:
- In Coupler.io, describe the data you need, for example: "Combine my Google Ads and Meta Ads spend by day for Perplexity." Coupler AI helps set up a data flow with Perplexity as the destination.
- Check that your Perplexity plan supports connectors, and that Docker is installed and open on your Mac.
- In Perplexity, go to Settings → Connectors, add a connector and choose Simple settings.
- Paste the command Coupler.io gives you, add your Coupler.io access token, and save.
- Run the data flow in Coupler.io and set a refresh schedule.
- Ask Perplexity questions about your data.
Choosing a Perplexity connector setup
Start with what you want to ask Perplexity:
- If you ask about one platform at a time, the native Perplexity connectors in the catalog are the quickest route. Check each app's permissions before you connect it.
- If you compare channels or report on KPIs, use a tool that prepares one dataset. Coupler.io calculates results before Perplexity explains them; Windsor.ai and Adzviser offer quick remote setup.
- If you need attribution or incrementality, look at SegmentStream.
- If your team already uses Supermetrics, test its MCP server with Perplexity before you upgrade.
Most of these Perplexity data connectors have a free plan or trial. Connect your real accounts, ask the questions you'd ask in a weekly report, and compare the answers with your platform dashboards before you choose one of the Perplexity data connectors for your team.
FAQ
Are Perplexity connectors free?
No. Using Perplexity connectors as sources needs a paid plan, starting with Pro at $17/month billed annually. Custom connectors also need Pro, Max or Enterprise. Third-party tools charge separately, though Coupler.io and Windsor.ai have free plans.
Does Perplexity use my connected data to train its models?
On Enterprise Pro and Enterprise Max, Perplexity says your data, including connector data, is never used for training. On Pro and Max, you can opt out of data collection in your settings.
Do I need the Perplexity API to use connectors?
No. The Perplexity API is for developers building apps with Perplexity's AI models, and it uses an API key with separate billing. Connectors work inside the Perplexity app and need no API setup.
