Best Data Warehouse Connectors in 2026 for Marketing Data
A data warehouse keeps the full history of your ad, analytics and CRM data in one place, where you can join it with SQL. The native transfers in BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift and Databricks cover only a few marketing sources, so third-party data warehouse connectors fill the gap.
This guide compares the native options with eight third-party tools and walks through a setup. We focus on BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift and Databricks, the cloud warehouses marketing teams most often load ad data into. Each tool review also lists other supported destinations, such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server and ClickHouse.
Data warehouse connectors explained
A data warehouse connector extracts data from a data source, loads it into warehouse tables, and keeps those tables up to date on a schedule. The source can be:
- an ad platform API
- a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- a product analytics tool like Mixpanel
- a database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- files such as CSV and JSON on SFTP or Amazon S3
Most data warehouse connectors work as ELT: they load raw data first, and you transform it in the warehouse with SQL queries or dbt. Classic ETL transforms data before loading. Some marketing tools sit in between, mapping metrics or joining sources before the data lands.
Three behaviors decide how well a connector handles marketing data:
- Sync mode. Incremental sync adds only new or changed rows. Full replace rewrites the table on every run. Ad platforms keep updating conversion numbers for several days after the click, so the connector should reload the last few days on each run.
- Schema changes. Platforms add and rename fields. Some tools update the table automatically. Others need you to alter or recreate it.
- Historical backfill. Check how far back the first load goes. Ad APIs limit history, and GA4’s BigQuery export can’t re-export days it missed.
Once the data is in the warehouse, BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Looker Studio read it through native connectors or JDBC/ODBC drivers.
Types of warehouse connectors for marketing data
Warehouse connectors for marketing data come from four kinds of vendors, and you can also build your own. They differ in source coverage, who sets them up and how you pay.
Native warehouse transfers
BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks and Amazon Redshift each have their own ingestion services. They cover few ad platforms, and setup usually needs data engineering skills.
Third-party connector platforms
Fivetran, Coupler.io, Airbyte, Windsor.ai, Supermetrics, Funnel, Hevo Data and Dataddo all run managed connectors that load ad, analytics and CRM data into your warehouse on a schedule. They handle API details such as authentication, rate limits and attribution windows. The main differences are source coverage, pricing model, which plans include warehouse export, and whether you can transform data before it loads.
Custom connectors
For a niche API, you can write a script or use a connector builder (Airbyte has one). You can also drop exported CSV or JSON files into Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage and load them from there as a data lake. This works for any source, but you maintain authentication, pagination and API changes yourself.
| Type | Examples | Pricing model | Setup effort | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Native transfers | BigQuery DTS, Snowflake Openflow, Lakeflow Connect, AWS Glue zero-ETL, Amazon AppFlow | Cloud compute or usage | Medium to high | Google sources in BigQuery; teams with data engineers |
| Third-party connector platforms | Fivetran, Coupler.io, Airbyte, Windsor.ai, Supermetrics, Funnel, Hevo Data, Dataddo | Rows, credits, events, accounts or data flows | Low to medium | Ad, analytics and CRM data from many sources |
| Custom connectors | Scripts, connector builders | Developer time | High | Niche or internal APIs |
What native warehouse connectors cover
Before you pay for a third-party tool, check what your warehouse already offers. Here’s the marketing coverage as of October 2026.
Google BigQuery Data Transfer Service
Google sources such as Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360, Google Ad Manager, GA4 and YouTube load with no transfer charge. Google Play costs $25 per app per month. Facebook Ads and Salesforce are billed by compute, and HubSpot, Shopify and Google Merchant Center are in Preview.
GA4’s native BigQuery export is also free, but the daily export is capped at 1 million events per day for standard properties. There’s no LinkedIn Ads or TikTok Ads connector, and you still pay for BigQuery storage and queries.
Snowflake Openflow
Openflow covers Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce and Shopify, billed in Snowflake credits. The ad connectors are still in Preview, and availability depends on your deployment type and cloud region. An admin has to set up an Openflow deployment, which has an always-on management cost while it exists.
Databricks Lakeflow Connect
Managed connectors cover Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot and Salesforce, with a free tier of 100 DBUs per workspace per day. The Google Ads and Meta Ads connectors are in Beta. You create the connection in the UI, but you build the pipeline through the API or bundles.
Amazon Redshift
AWS offers two routes. AWS Glue zero-ETL loads Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads and Salesforce into Redshift. Amazon AppFlow covers those plus Google Ads, GA4, LinkedIn Ads and HubSpot, for $0.001 per flow run plus $0.02 per GB. Neither lists TikTok Ads, and AppFlow’s Google Ads connector needs your own Google Cloud project and developer token.
Top-rated marketing data warehouse connectors compared
This table compares the top-rated marketing data warehouse connectors on the points that affect cost and setup. Prices are the entry plans that include warehouse export, checked on vendor sites in October 2026.
| Tool | Sources | Free option | Entry plan price | Fastest sync |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coupler.io | 400+ | Free plan; 7-day trial | $24/mo billed annually, by connected accounts | Daily (Starter), 15 min (Custom) |
| Fivetran | 700+ | Free plan, 500K MAR | Usage-based (MAR), $5 minimum per paid connection | 15 min (Standard), 1 min (Enterprise) |
| Airbyte | 700+ | Self-hosted Core; 14-day trial | $20/mo, credit-based | Hourly (Standard), 15 min (Plus), 5 min (Pro) |
| Windsor.ai | 350+ | 30-day trial, then free plan with 1 source | $19/mo billed annually, by sources | Daily (Basic), 15 min (Professional) |
| Supermetrics | 170+ | 14-day trial | Enterprise plan, quote only | Not published |
| Funnel | 579 (Business) | 30-day trial | $600/mo billed annually, Flexpoints | Every 2 hours (Business) |
| Hevo Data | 150+ | Free plan, 1M events/mo | $265/mo billed annually, event-based | Hourly (Starter), streaming (Professional) |
| Dataddo | 400+ | Free start | From $99/mo, per data flow | Custom, down to 1 min (source-dependent) |
These pricing models don’t compare one to one, because a row, a credit, an event and an account each measure something different. Entry plans also differ in limits (for example, Coupler.io Starter allows 1 destination and 5,000 rows per run), so check what each includes. Run your expected volume through each vendor’s calculator. Your cloud provider bills warehouse storage and queries separately.

How to connect marketing APIs to a data warehouse
Most connectors for marketing APIs to data warehouses follow the same pattern: prepare the warehouse, connect the sources, then choose a write mode and schedule. Here’s how it looks with Coupler.io and BigQuery.
- In BigQuery, create the dataset you’ll load into. In Google Cloud, create a service account with the BigQuery Data Editor and BigQuery Job User roles, and download its JSON key.
- In Coupler.io, describe what you need, for example: “Combine my Google Ads and Meta Ads spend into one table for BigQuery, refreshed daily.” Coupler AI helps set up the data flow with both sources.
- Add BigQuery as the destination. Upload the JSON key, then enter the dataset and table name. Coupler.io creates the table on the first run.
- Choose Replace to rewrite the table on each run, or Append to add new rows.
- Run the flow once, check the table in BigQuery, then set the schedule. Your BI tool can now read from that table.
FAQ
ETL or ELT for marketing data?
Most teams use ELT and transform data with SQL in the warehouse. If no one on your team writes SQL, Funnel, Coupler.io and Dataddo let you transform data before loading.
How much do data warehouse connectors cost?
Entry plans for data warehouse connectors range from free tiers (Fivetran, Hevo Data, self-hosted Airbyte Core) to $600/month (Funnel Business), and some are quote-only. Tools that charge by rows, credits or events cost more as your data grows.
Which connectors support Databricks?
Fivetran, Airbyte, Windsor.ai, Hevo Data and Dataddo list Databricks as a destination. Supermetrics offers it in early access, and Funnel in beta. Databricks’ own Lakeflow Connect covers Google Ads and Meta Ads in Beta.
Where to start with a data warehouse connector
Start with your warehouse and your sources. If you use BigQuery and mostly Google sources, the free Data Transfer Service and the GA4 export may be all you need. For Snowflake, Databricks or Redshift, the native ad connectors are still early, so most teams add a third-party tool.
From there, the right third-party tool depends on what else you need to load:
- If you also replicate databases, shortlist tools with CDC support, such as Fivetran, Airbyte, Hevo Data or Dataddo.
- If you mainly load ad and CRM data, compare which plan includes warehouse export and whether costs grow with data volume or with the number of accounts.
Most warehouse connectors for marketing data offer a free plan or trial. Use it to test your real accounts, and check how many rows, events or credits a typical day of syncing uses before you choose a plan.
