Best Claude Connectors for Data in 2026: Marketing, Analytics, CRM, and BI

Claude is good at working with numbers, but only the numbers it can see. Without connectors, you export CSVs, paste tables, and upload screenshots into every conversation.

Most lists of Claude connectors focus on Gmail, Slack, and Google Calendar. This guide covers Claude data connectors: the ones that bring marketing, product analytics, CRM, warehouse, and BI data into Claude. It also covers a few everyday picks, since the best connectors for Claude often pair a metric with its context.

What are Claude connectors?

Claude connectors function much like plugins, letting Claude read data from outside apps and take actions in them. They are built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard Anthropic introduced. Each connector is an MCP server that exposes a set of tools, such as "search threads" or "run SQL query".

There are two kinds of Claude AI connectors:

Connectors work in Claude on the web, desktop, and mobile, in Cowork, in Claude Code, and through the API's MCP connector. On mobile you can use connectors but not add them.

Claude MCP connectors for productivity apps return messages, files, and pages. Claude data connectors return tables, metrics, and query results.

What data can Claude access through connectors?

The short answer to what data Claude can access through connectors: only what the connected account can access.

Permissions come from the app's own login. Most connectors use OAuth: you sign in to the app, and Claude works with your permissions there. If your HubSpot user can't see a pipeline, Claude can't either. You can revoke access in Claude or in the app.

Some tools read, others write. A connector can include read tools (search, fetch, query) and write tools (create a record, send a message, edit a dashboard). You can set each tool to "Always allow", "Needs approval", or "Blocked". In Cowork, approvals also depend on the task's permission mode and your organization's settings.

Admins control the list on Team and Enterprise plans. Owners decide which connectors members can use, can restrict actions across the organization, and add custom connectors before anyone else can connect them.

API queries and synced data behave differently. Connectors like BigQuery, Stripe, or Mixpanel query the app each time you ask. Data pipeline tools like Coupler.io pull data from many sources, then give Claude a prepared dataset. The first gives you the app's current state. The second can combine and transform data from several sources, then refresh it on a schedule.

Large tables don't fit in a conversation. Tool results have size caps. BigQuery returns up to 3,000 rows per query, and Claude Code limits a tool result to 25,000 tokens by default. Ask for aggregated or filtered results (spend by campaign by week, not every ad click).

Best Claude data connectors for marketers

Ad platforms, GA4, and social accounts rarely have official Claude connectors of their own. Claude data connectors for marketing fill that gap: one connection gives Claude access to dozens of platforms.

Coupler.io

Coupler.io is a data integration and AI analytics platform with 400+ sources. With its directory connector, you start in Claude: describe the report you need, and Coupler AI helps you set up a data flow that blends ad, analytics, CRM, or finance data into one refreshed dataset. Your metric definitions go with the data, and Coupler.io's Analytical Engine performs the calculations, so Claude answers from clean numbers in your team's terms.

Pricing
Free plan with manual refresh; Starter from $24/month billed annually ($32 monthly); 7-day trial.
Standout featureSetup and analysis happen in the same conversation. You ask for the report, get the data flow, then ask follow-up questions of the result.
Keep in mindClaude sees only data flows with Claude as the destination. Refresh runs daily on Starter and hourly from Pro.

Best for: marketers who want to go from a reporting question to blended, refreshed data across several tools without building the pipeline first.

Ahrefs

The Ahrefs connector gives Claude SEO data from Ahrefs: keywords, backlinks, organic traffic, top pages, and competitor domains. It runs on Ahrefs' hosted MCP server, and all of its tools are read-only.

Pricing
Included on Ahrefs plans from Lite (from $129/month); each request uses API units from your plan's monthly allowance.
Standout featureKeyword, backlink, and competitor research in one chat, without exporting reports first.
Keep in mindNot available on free Ahrefs accounts, and large requests can use up your monthly API units quickly. Row limits per request depend on your plan.

Best for: SEO and content teams that already pay for Ahrefs.

Klaviyo

The Klaviyo connector brings email and SMS data into Claude: campaigns, flows, segments, profiles, and metrics. It's listed in Claude's Connectors Directory, and some results open as interactive charts inside the chat.

Pricing
Works on Klaviyo's free and paid plans; the Claude connector needs a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise).
Standout featureMetric aggregates for campaign and flow performance, shown as charts in the conversation.
Keep in mindEach Klaviyo account is a separate connection, so agencies add one custom connector per client account.

Best for: Ecommerce brands and agencies running email and SMS in Klaviyo.

Example prompts for marketing data

Coupler.io handles all of these:

  • "Compare cost per lead across Google Ads and LinkedIn for the last 90 days."
  • "Which Meta campaigns spent more this month but converted less?"
  • "Show blended ROAS by channel for the last 8 weeks."
  • "Which campaigns with rising CPC still brought in HubSpot deals?"

Everyday connectors worth adding: email, docs, and team chat

These four don't hold your metrics, but they hold the context around them: who approved a budget, what the brief said, which client asked for what.

Gmail

The Gmail connector lets Claude search your inbox, read full threads, and create drafts. It also includes send, reply, and forward tools, and Claude asks for approval before each one. You connect with Google sign-in; on Team and Enterprise, an Owner enables it first, and a Workspace admin may need to approve the Claude app.

Pricing
Free with a Gmail account; Workspace plans for business email.
Standout featureAnswers link back to the source emails.
Keep in mindClaude sees attachment names and metadata, not the attachment content.

Best for: client threads, campaign approvals, and replies that need real context.

Notion

The Notion connector is built by Notion and uses its hosted MCP server. Claude can search and read pages, create and update them, add comments, and query databases. You connect with Notion sign-in.

Pricing
Free plan; Plus at $10 and Business at $20 per seat per month.
Standout featureSQL-style queries across up to 100 databases.
Keep in mindAI search and cross-database queries need Business or Enterprise with Notion AI; other plans get keyword search, capped at 50 results.

Best for: briefs, content calendars, and campaign docs.

Slack

The Slack connector is built by Slack. Claude can search messages, files, and channels, read threads and canvases, and post or schedule messages. You connect with Slack sign-in, and workspace admins approve which AI clients can connect.

Pricing
Free plan; Pro from $7.25 per user per month, billed annually.
Standout featureIt writes back to Slack, including canvases and lists.
Keep in mindEach tool has its own rate limit, so broad searches across a large workspace can slow down.

Best for: decisions and feedback buried in channels.

Canva

The Canva connector lets Claude search your designs, generate new ones, autofill brand templates, add comments, and export files. Some results open as interactive previews inside the chat. You connect with Canva sign-in.

Pricing
Free plan; Pro at $144 per year and Business at $250 per person per year.
Standout featureIt creates and exports a design without leaving the conversation.
Keep in mindAI actions use your Canva AI allowance, and brand template autofill isn't available on Free or Pro Lite.

Best for: turning a brief or a report summary into a visual asset.

Example prompts for everyday connectors

  • "Find the last three emails from Acme about the Q4 budget and summarize what they approved." (Gmail)
  • "Pull this month's content calendar and list posts still missing a brief." (Notion)
  • "What did the team decide about the landing page test in #growth last week?" (Slack)
  • "Turn this report summary into a one-page social graphic." (Canva)

Connectors for product and web analytics

All three tools below have official connectors built by the vendor, include MCP access on every plan, and query your project directly each time you ask.

Amplitude

The Amplitude connector lets Claude query charts, dashboards, notebooks, cohorts, experiments, and session replays. With write permission, it can also edit your tracking plan. You connect with OAuth; EU-hosted projects add the EU server URL as a custom connector.

Pricing
Free plan up to 2M events per month.
Standout featureAI Context applies your own metric definitions to every query.
Keep in mindLarge charts may come back truncated, and dashboard queries may not apply saved filters.

Best for: product teams that already build charts and experiments in Amplitude.

Mixpanel

The Mixpanel connector covers queries, reports, dashboards, cohorts, metrics, and session replays, and it can create and edit dashboards. Every change is written to the audit log. US projects connect from the directory; EU and India projects add a regional URL as a custom connector.

Pricing
Free up to 1M events per month; Growth is usage-based.
Standout featureSession replay analysis from inside the conversation.
Keep in mindRequests are limited to 600 per hour per user, and free plans may hit Query API limits.

Best for: teams that analyze funnels and retention in Mixpanel.

PostHog

The PostHog connector exposes 57 tools across product analytics, web analytics, feature flags, experiments, surveys, error tracking, and logs. Claude can query with HogQL or plain language and create insights and dashboards. One URL serves both US and EU regions.

Pricing
Free tier with 1M events per month, then pay-as-you-go.
Standout featureAnalytics, flags, and errors in one connector, with charts shown inline.
Keep in mindAI-powered tools need AI data processing turned on for your organization and may count toward AI spend.

Best for: startups that run product and web analytics in PostHog.

Example prompts for product analytics

  • "Why did signup-to-activation conversion drop last week?"
  • "Build a funnel from trial start to first invoice for October."
  • "Which landing pages drove the most signups this month and why?"
  • "Summarize the results of the pricing page experiment."

Connectors for CRM and revenue data

CRM and payment connectors can change records, not only read them.

HubSpot

The HubSpot connector reads contacts, companies, deals, tickets, engagements, quotes, invoices, and campaigns. It can also create or update records and log notes, calls, and tasks. A Super Admin or a user with App Marketplace permissions installs it first, then each user connects with OAuth.

Pricing
Works on every HubSpot tier, including the free CRM; HubSpot says each user needs a paid Claude plan.
Standout featureCampaign and attribution tools for marketing teams (Marketing Hub Pro or Enterprise).
Keep in mindAvailable tools depend on your hubs and tiers, and Claude can't see sensitive data properties.

Best for: pipeline reviews and account briefs before a call.

Salesforce

Salesforce offers hosted MCP servers, generally available since April 2026 for Enterprise Edition orgs and above. Standard servers come in read-only, write-only, and full-access versions. Your admin creates an External Client App and adds the server URL in Claude.

Pricing
Requires Enterprise Edition or above.
Standout featureAdmins can expose your own Flows and Apex actions as tools.
Keep in mindSetup is admin-heavy, and servers are off by default.

Best for: enterprise sales teams with data already in Salesforce.

Stripe

The Stripe connector covers customers, charges, refunds, invoices, subscriptions, products, and payouts, with a preview analytics tool. Natural-language SQL over your data needs Stripe Sigma. You connect with OAuth and set permissions per live account or sandbox.

Pricing
2.9% + 30¢ per US domestic card charge, no monthly fee; Sigma from $10/month on an annual plan.
Standout featureRefunds and outbound payments need a person to approve them through a confirmation link.
Keep in mindFrom October 31, 2026, Stripe's MCP server rejects full-access secret keys and restricted keys without the Agent tag.

Best for: SaaS and ecommerce teams that track revenue and churn in Stripe.

Example prompts for CRM and revenue data

  • "List open deals over $10K with no activity in 14 days." (HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • "Show pipeline by stage and region for Q4." (HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • "What was net revenue by plan last month?" (Stripe)
  • "List customers whose subscriptions churned after a failed payment." (Stripe)

Claude data connectors for warehouses, BI, and spreadsheets

If your team already centralizes data, these Claude data connectors let you query it where it lives. Most need a data or IT admin to set up roles and access first.

BigQuery

The BigQuery connector is built by Google. Claude can list datasets and tables, read table details, and run SQL. You sign in with Google and need a Cloud project plus the MCP Tool User, BigQuery Job User, and Data Viewer roles.

Pricing
On-demand queries at $6.25 per TiB, with the first 1 TiB per month free.
Standout featureNo separate MCP quota; standard BigQuery quotas apply.
Keep in mindResults cap at 3,000 rows and queries time out after 3 minutes. SQL can change data only if your Google account has write permissions, which the roles above don't include.

Best for: teams that already load marketing or product data into Google Cloud.

Snowflake

The Snowflake connector points to a Snowflake-managed MCP server. It can expose Cortex Analyst over semantic views, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, and SQL, which you can set to read-only. An admin creates the server, a role, and an OAuth integration before users connect.

Pricing
The MCP server has no separate charge; the queries and Cortex tools it calls use Snowflake credits.
Standout featureAnswers come from governed data and semantic views your data team maintains.
Keep in mindSetup is SQL-heavy, servers allow up to 50 tools, and responses are cut off at 250 KB.

Best for: companies with a data team that runs Snowflake.

Hex

The Hex connector lets Claude search your Hex projects and ask questions through Threads. Editors can also create, update, and run notebook cells. Hex marks it as beta, and a Claude owner adds it on Team or Enterprise.

Pricing
Professional at $36 and Team at $75 per editor per month.
Standout featureAnswers come back as interactive charts and tables with citations.
Keep in mindIt's still in beta, and data connections marked sensitive are blocked by default.

Best for: teams that want to reuse analyses already built in Hex.

Power BI

Power BI has no listing in Claude's Connectors Directory. Microsoft offers remote MCP servers you can add as custom connectors. The Fabric IQ server is generally available and read-only, for questions about reports and semantic models. The Authoring server, in preview as a hosted version, edits measures and relationships and runs DAX queries.

Pricing
Power BI Pro at $14 and Premium Per User at $24 per user per month.
Standout featureAuthoring runs DAX queries of up to 100,000 rows.
Keep in mindYou sign in with Entra ID and may need your own app registration. Microsoft's docs don't list Claude as a tested client, and Fabric IQ returns 250 rows by default.

Best for: teams whose reporting already runs on Power BI semantic models.

Google Drive (for Google Sheets)

The Google Drive connector is built by Google. Claude can search, read, create, update, and share files, including Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and PDFs. Sheets content comes in as text. You sign in with Google; on Team and Enterprise, an Owner enables it first.

Pricing
Free with a Google account.
Standout featureOne connector covers Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, and Office files.
Keep in mindA file has to fit in the conversation, so large sheets don't work well. For big or frequently updated sheets, load the data into a warehouse or a pipeline tool first.

Best for: small spreadsheets and one-off exports.

Example prompts for warehouses, BI, and spreadsheets

  • "Total GA4 sessions by source for September from the analytics dataset." (BigQuery, Snowflake)
  • "Find our latest CAC analysis and update it with October data." (Hex)
  • "What drove the drop in the Q3 margin measure?" (Power BI)
  • "Read the October budget sheet and flag lines over plan." (Google Drive)

How to use connectors in Claude

You add Claude connectors once per account, then turn them on or off per conversation from the "+" menu under Connectors.

Add a connector from the Connectors Directory

  1. Go to Customize > Connectors and browse the Claude connectors directory. You can also open it from a chat: "+" > Connectors > Manage connectors.
  2. Find the tool and click Connect.
  3. Sign in to the app and approve access.
  4. Set each tool to Always allow, Needs approval, or Blocked.

Add a custom connector

  1. Go to Customize > Connectors, click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Enter a name and the remote MCP server URL from the vendor's docs.
  3. Choose how to sign in, then click Add.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds Claude custom connectors first under Organization settings > Connectors > Add > Custom > Web. Members then connect from Customize > Connectors.

Claude Code connectors

Claude Code connectors are remote MCP servers (such as GitHub) you add from the terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http notion https://mcp.notion.com/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code to check the status and sign in. If you log in to Claude Code with a Claude subscription, connectors you added in Claude load there too.

Claude Cowork connectors

Claude Cowork connectors are the ones on your Claude account: anything you add there is available in Cowork, because connectors run from Anthropic's cloud. Local MCP servers set up in the desktop config file are not.

FAQ

Are Claude connectors free?

Yes, on Claude's side. Connectors are included on every Claude plan, Free included. The connected tool may still need its own plan: Salesforce needs Enterprise Edition, and warehouse queries in BigQuery or Snowflake are billed as usual.

Which Claude plans support custom connectors?

All of them. Free accounts can add one Claude custom connector; Pro and Max can add more. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds Claude custom connectors for the organization before members can connect.

Can Claude change data in my apps?

It can if the connector includes write tools and your account has permission. Pipeline tools like Coupler.io keep the imported rows read-only.

Where to start

The best Claude connectors to start with are the ones for the data you paste into Claude most often, so connect that source directly. When your questions need data from several sources in one table, such as spend from three ad platforms next to CRM revenue, add a pipeline tool that blends and refreshes it for you.
